The Kestrel 38 has been specially designed as a universal walking bag. When the weather is hot, the AirScape™ back allows air flow to stay good around your back. With an adjustable back and adjustable hip belt, you can adjust the bag to fit you optimally. When the bag is properly tuned to you, 80% of the weight goes to your hips and 20% of the weight on your shoulders. This means you are less likely to have pain in your shoulders and back while walking. It is best to manipulate the heaviest items involved at the bottom of the bag. All the stuff in the bag is easily accessible. Stow-on-the-Go™ fasteners for walking sticks allow you to put your walking sticks in and out by yourself without putting the bag down or asking a friend for help. A waterproof cover is useful in rain and wet weather. But you don't have to panic if you encounter gusty winds because the tarp is attached, as you may not need it here in Iceland.
