It shall be called Catan, the island you have discovered. Farms are started to be established and roads built. Towns develop into cities and trade flourishes. Soon the island is crowded – and the competition for territory, resources and power begins. In the end, only one thing is clear – there can only be one ruler of Catan. The desert island of Catan consists of 19 territories surrounded by the sea. Your task is to colonize the island. To earn points, you have to build towns, build roads, and turn towns into cities. One city gives 2 points. In order to be able to build, however, you need raw materials. It is determined by the roll of the dice. In order to be able to win, you have to trade with the other settlers. An exchange of raw materials is offered, and in return there is a counter offer. When contracts are successful, the missing ingredients can be used to build a new town, city or road. The first settler to score 10 points or more wins and becomes the ruler of Catan.
